A few weeks ago, we opened the doors to our newly expanded campus and invited people to stop by, grab a bite, and see what we’ve been building. What we didn’t expect was just how natural the whole morning would feel.
What unfolded was a genuine morning of conversation and connection. The kind of gathering that reminds you why this work matters in the first place.
We were lucky to have a videographer on site for the event and what they captured was magic. You see familiar faces. You hear easy laughter. You notice people lingering in hallways, asking questions, and taking their time on tours. It felt less like an event and more like a neighbor stopping by to see what’s new.
That was exactly what we’d hoped for.
The open house marked the completion of our campus expansion, but the focus was never on square footage or ribbon cutting photos. The new space exists to support the people we serve and the clinicians who show up for them every day.
Throughout the morning, guests toured the facility and learned more about how the additional space allows us to expand programming, improve flow of care, and better support individuals and families navigating recovery.
That curiosity and care from the community meant a great deal to us.
The tone of the day was just right. Brunch-style appetizers were shared. People popped in and out as their schedules allowed. Swag bags were picked up, set down, and sometimes forgotten entirely while conversations carried on.
We were honored to have County Commissioner Ryan Baty offer brief remarks and to welcome Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater in attendance. Their presence meant a lot, but so did the presence of community partners, providers, and neighbors who know this work firsthand.
It felt like a community showing up for something they care about.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us that morning. Whether you stayed for ten minutes or the full two hours, your presence mattered. This expansion marks an important step forward for Holland Pathways, but it’s one we don’t take lightly.
Growth only means something if it helps us do the work better. We believe this space will do exactly that.
If you weren’t able to attend, we hope the video gives you a sense of the day and the spirit behind it. And if you were there, thank you for helping make it feel less like an event and more like a shared moment.
That’s exactly how we like to do things.
